Bills fall short in Divisional Round against the Kansas Chiefs, 24-27

The Bills had a chance to tie the game with a 44-yard field goal, but Tyler Bass hooked it right with 1:43 left. The Chiefs then ran out the clock with Isiah Pacheco and Patrick Mahomes, who is heading to his sixth consecutive AFC title game. The Bills were eliminated by the Chiefs for the third time in four years.

 

The Bills controlled the clock and the tempo, running 78 plays to the Chiefs’ 47 and holding the ball for over 37 minutes. Josh Allen threw for 186 yards and a score and ran for 72 yards and two more touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes was efficient, passing for 215 yards and two touchdowns, and Isiah Pacheco added 97 yards and a touchdown on the ground.  The Bills lost at home in the Divisional Round for the second year in a row.
